Fine art fridges on Michigan Avenue

Decorated refrigerators are currently on display along Michigan Avenue, between Chicago and Illinois. The exhibit is sponsored by ComEd to spread the word about their Appliance Recycling Program. They will haul away your old (pre-1993) working refrigerator and give you $25 for your donation, in an effort to encourage consumers to use newer, more energy efficient models. The exhibit remains will remain on display through September 15. For more information, visit comed.com. (Photos by John Townsend/WGN Radio)
