Penn awarded for humanitarian work
Actor, writer and humanitarian Sean Penn was presented with the 2012 Peace Summit Award by Nobel Peace Prize winner Mikhail Gorbachev, former president of the Soviet Union, on the final day of the 12th World Summit of Nobel Prize Laureates at the Symphony Center in Chicago. Penn was honored for his humanitarian work in Haiti.
