Sonic boom: Chevrolet scores with new entry-level model
Chevrolet has had more than its share of proud product moments, but introducing its roster of entry-level cars have not been one of them. Dating back to the unfortunate Vega, with its handsome but rust-prone bodywork and fire-prone aluminum engine, there have almost always been better cars at the very bottom of the new-car food chain than Chevrolet's offerings.
