New crash test hits luxury cars
Out of 11 cars with such fancy nameplates as BMW, Mercedes and Lexus, only three passed a new crash safety test that looks at what happens when the vehicle's front corner hits something, according to the Insurance Institute of Highway Safety. Read the full story and watch crash test video

Acura TL
The 2012 Acura TL received a "good" rating. In the insurance group's test, the car's front driver's-side corner rams into a 5-foot-tall rigid barrier at 40 mph.
