Smelling more than nachos and popcorn
In honor of Julia Child's 100th birthday, we take a look back at several olfactory films that we wouldn't mind taking a whiff of ... and some that we'd like to keep our noses away from.
The Aroma-Scope card from 2011's "Spykids: All the Time in the World in 4D" offers a unique scent to be scratched on cue during the movie. So how does it work? When you enter the theater and collect your 3-D glasses, you also get a postcard embedded with 8 squares that are numbered. When a digit flashes on screen, it's time to scratch the square with that number and inhale. Read on for other movies that should (or should not have) offered the olfactory experience. |
