With no hard proof of the illegal oil sale, Chuck and Blair realize that their only option is to trick Bart into making a confession. But unfortunately, Ivy is the only person that can get under Bart's skin since she had the evidence last. Agreeing to help, Serena manages to track down Ivy and convinces her to come into the city so the two can smooth over their differences. Surprisingly, Ivy agrees ... since con artists are apparently very gullible. Elsewhere, Bart calls a meeting with Nate so he can figure out what Chuck's plan is. Nate is obligated to tell the truth since Bart knows he committed financial fraud, but he decides only to reveal that Chuck has been trying to find Ivy. Bart becomes suspicious and calls Ivy, at which point the gang tells her she needs to bait Bart into a confession. But right when everything is going according to plan, the police show up and arrest Nate. Apparently Bart knew about the scheme all along, and this time he'll stop at nothing to destroy Chuck and his friends.
